A Proud History

HLT International Pte Ltd ( formerly known as Hock Lee) is recognized as one of the fore-runners in the Automotive, Tyre Servicing and Tyre Retreading Industry in South East Asia.

Originally part of the Hock Lee Bus Company in Singapore, HLT International spun out in 1959 as the sole distributor of Toyo tyres, working closely with private bus companies in Singapore. Under the astute guidance of our former Chairman, Mr. Tan Kwang Hui, we grew from strength to strength achieving an impressive list of clients whom included Green Bus Company, Changi Bus Company and Hock Lee Bus Company itself.

Having a track record of delivering on our promises, we grew to a stage where we were able to expand our product range to include battery chargers and batteries as well as becoming a distributor for Bridgestone truck and bus tyres.

In 1976, our current Chairman Mr. Tan Choon Hing took over the reins of HLT International and spearheaded a massive transformation. Under his leadership, we expanded our offerings to equipment, tools, supplies and accessories for the automotive and tyre aftermarket. It was inevitable that we grew beyond the confines of Singapore.

As Malaysia tyre after market growth since 1990, first Malaysia office was established in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and HORI RADING SDN BHD was formed accordingly with great leadership of Mr. Tan Choon Hing. Kuala Lumpur, Johor, Penang and Sarawak sales offices and warehouses have been operating since 1997 and all Malaysia offices were consolidated under HOCK LEE TRADING SDN BHD at the same time. Automotive servicing market need had changed on beginning of 21 century. Our Automotive Equipment & Tools Division was born on 2005 to supply equipment and tools to workshops.  Recently, our Body & Paint Division was established on 2016 to serve Body Painting Centre nationwide of Singapore & Malaysia.

Training and Education

HLT International / Hock Lee is committed to training and educating industry personnel on the proper repair of tyres, and the proper application of tyre repair materials in accordance with industry repair procedures – certified by Germany's Rema Tip Top Gmbh. With the establishment of our new training center, we are sure to keep your company updated with the current methodology in the Automotive Service Industry.
